The Liver has a dual blood supply. The Hepatic Artery is responsible for the delivery of oxygen-rich blood the Liver Parenchyma. The Hepatic Artery is responsible for around 25% of the blood flow through the Liver.

The rotation of the midgut is around the axis of the Superior Mesenteric Artery.
